The forecast for Sunday morning was bad and the rain arrived punctually at the drivers meeting, causing the delay of the first round of qualification until 10:00AM. There was a close battle between Kai-Oliver Guttschau (Mugen) and Rico Kröber (XRAY NT1) during qualification. Traction on the track got better and better, and Rico´s NT1 ran faster and faster. He had two perfect runs and took the pole position followed by Kai-O, Thomas Merbs, and Robert Patrzek.

The Final started with a very close battle between Rico and Kai-O, but after the first stops Rico pushed his NT1 and pulled away from Kai. The other drivers had a lot of trouble with the technical track so Kai and Rico got a commanding lead. Rico drove the fastest lap time – 15.5sec – in the middle of the race.

The 1/8 scale class was dominated b7 Benjamin Schumann with his XRAY RX8, and took his second win of the season. He was very satisfied with his RX8 this weekend.
So it was all-in-all a successful race for Team XRAY and now we can start preparations for the European Championship 1/10 A in Ettlingen (Germany).
